Euro Beach Soccer League: Portugal derrota a campeã mundial e qualifica-se para a SuperFinal (7x4)
A seleção portuguesa derrotou a Rússia e fez o pleno nesta etapa de Terracina vencendo o seu grupo. Os golos da equipa das quinas foram marcados por Belchior (3), Luis Vaz, Alan, Bruno Novo e Rui Coimbra.
Ainda neste grupo a Bielorrussia bateu a Alemanha por 3x1.
No outro grupo da Divisão A a Holanda venceu a Roménia por 5x2, ao passo que a seleção anfitriã, a Itália, venceu a Ucrânia por 4x2 num jogo em que teve de se recorrer ao tempo extra.
Na Divisão B Israel garantiu a presença na fase de promoção na SuperFinal ao bater por 9x6 a seleção turca. No outro jogo houve recurso às grandes penalidades com a Hungria a verncer o Azerbeijão por 1x0 após o empate a quatro no tempo regulamentar e prolongamento.
